Smells bother me as well. The smell of a friend's diet pepsi had me dry heaving. I was unable to do protein shakes as well. One thing I could eat which had little nutritional value was bagel crisps and cream cheese. It got me through a few weeks. My big thing now is tuna. I have started putting unflavored powder in carnation (I can taste it) and sucking that down in the morning. Otherwise I was not meeting my protein goal. I wasn't that worried about protein in the beginning, I worried more about water. I ate an egg and it was wonderful the first time, then made me nauseous after that and I haven't had one in awhile because of the thought of it making me sick.
