Liquid diet
Hi Mike,
I've been on a liquid diet for the last few weeks.
My Dr told me to go out and get several brands of shakes so that I wouldn't get tired of anyone of them. Some are better than the others. I spoke with him as I just can't do the liquid thing all alone, he said to toss in a few protien bars, just as long as my caloric intake is 1000 or less.
So I have a shake & bar in the morning, shake & bar in the afternoon, and chicken salad or fish. Boy did that help. So far I have lost 16lbs. He wanted me down to approx 300lbs if I could get there.
So far, so good..Looks like I get the LAP surgery instead of the Open!
(Also, my personal trainer said the bars & chicken are helping me loose weight as it takes more energy to digest them than it does the shakes)
