My dr. stated it was optional, but preferred her patients did it. She did not really give reasons why, but I remember something about shrinking the liver. I figure if I am going to do this,why not start early, I don't have an issue with protein shake - at least not yet - so it will be tough but we can both do it. When is your surgery date Cindy?
