Don't worry about your weight loss. It is a good idea to get a doppler done to check for blood clots if your Dr. Feels it necessary. However, I had severe water retention post-op and Dr. Callery prescribed lasix for me which helped a lot. I think I was down about 30 lbs 8 weeks out and now six months out I am down 100 lbs or so. I am not sure I haven't weighed myself lately. Don't worry the weight WILL come off. This is not a race to see who loses faster it's a race to get healthy. Don't speed things up too much. Just concentrate on getting some protein and water in. Everything else will work itself out.
