It's weird, huh?
At my work, since we have an abundant supply of people to help/interview, coupled with the fact we are always short staffed, we have lunch partners that we are paired up with. (I don't like being paired, I like it when the have a minimum numbers of windows that must be open and you go to lunch as long as that # of windows are open after you close yours)
Anyway...
You can't go to break or lunch if that person isn't at their window. So everyone is almost fighting to see who goes first to lunch as we all forget and take late lunches just because we are so overwhelmed with a full lobby of people and long interviews.
I laugh when I tell my partner (whoever it may be) not to stress or worry and they can go whenever they please as I don't get hungry (yet) and I don't have to have my lunch by any time specific.
Needless to say everyone likes to be my lunch partner now.
