I'm more a reader than poster here but today I feel like giving a bit of an update.
I'm 42 years old & live in New Hampshire. I work as a nurse in a pediatric rehabilitation center with kids with disabilities & terminal illnesses. I've worked there for 22 years & still love it most of the time.
I had my surgery on July 18, '05. So far I have lost 84lbs. My skin doesn't fit me & my body looks like a human Shar- pei.
I feel much better now than I have in years. I'm glad I had the surgery & I was very forthcoming about getting it done from the very beginning. Everyone was supportive of my decision. My best friend is the only one who gave me any resistance about it but I believe she was more worried for my health.
