That's the story the contact Lee was telling me, the angle they were using. The conversation between us was fine and professional and all. she asked how much I weight and I told her. So what does she say: and I quote "you don't seem that big."
Okay, first I told her in a nice but firm way to never say that to an obese or formerly obese person, it's an insult to us, that it minimizes our problems. When I put things in perspective for her (giving my height, BMI) she understood better.
That still doesn't give her the right to stand me up after making an appointment to interview me. What a waste of my time. Yes, she had my phone numbers so she could have at least called.
