Depends on your insurance or if self pay. You need a psyche evaluation and medical clearance. Your insurance may ask you for 6mo to a year of supervised weight loss trial. (Not needed for self pay) Nutritionist meeting can occur as well. Finally surgical referral and baaammm you are a stapler sistah!!! that is how my MD does it.
