I have tried the no sugar added and lo carb ice creams. What I found for ME is that ice creAM IS A TRIGGER FOOD. I used to eat a big bowl every night watching TV. When I started eating ice cream after surgery I found I was eating more and more and more. One night I ate an entire quart or half a container....Freaked me out until I realized that it was a trigger for my over eating before and very likely would be again if I let it. Try it but be careful and realize what it is you are doing. I have it occasionally like once in 6 months now.
