I can imagine I will be sore - just how much help did people need getting up and out of a chair, for example? Did you need help walking around the house? Could you go for walks outside? Is it a good idea to plan on using the recliner or is that too uncomfortable getting out of?

I think I have the dietary guidelines down pat but this other stuff concerns me particularly because my family will have to take days off from work if it sounds from your feedback that I will be needing help.

Any info you can give me would be so greatly appreciated!

On the down side... i don't know what I would have done if my husband had not been home with me. It wasn't the surgery but the drain was on a nerve everytime I tried to stand up it was very hard. once i made it up I was usually ok but still needed help going to the bathroom ect.... good news is that drain comes out . the minute it was out I was 100% better. i had lap.
