Thumbs up Update

Well I got a new job as a phlebotomist at a hospital. I am a little nervous as I have to get my CPTII license instead of just the CPTI that I have. I have to do blood gases too.. as it is a trauma hospital.. (The only one in North County) And it's affiliated with Pomerado.. any guesses as to where I'll be working? LOL

Anyway I am very excited and should start on my Husbands Birthday next Tuesday.. that kind of bums me out, but the thought that I will actually be working since I haven't worked since April 22nd.. well that is amazing to me.

My ex employer tried to fight the whole unemployment thing after I got off disability, but he lost.. loser!! LOL

I am happy right now.. but still a little depressed, and I can't figure out why. I have a husband who adores me, great friends, and a good kitty.. and we're going to start trying to have a baby early next year.. (like January.. yay!!)

I saw Tracie the day she had the baby, and saw her again yesterday on my way to give my statement to a homicide detective.. (don't ask.. I am not allowed to talk about the case.. lol) Just kidding .. it's no big deal.. something to do with my part time job that I work on the weekends.. well, I did, but can't when I am working at the hospital.. I am not in trouble.. I dispatch so I called in a person down.. (Heroin OD) and he died a couple of days later.. it's routine.. that's all.. anyway back to Tracie.. she's doing great.. she's glowing. I love her to death.. I really do!!! She is like a sister to me, like a few other gals from here. She gave me some of her maternity clothes.. she's a doll baby!!! I swear I don't know what I'd do without you guys!!! I am so thankful for all of the great friendships I have gotten over the past couple of years.. and ya'll know who you are.. each and every one have touched my heart and my life in a different and special way.. even those who I don't or rarely talk to anymore.. but it isn't because I don't love you.. it's just that I am busy.. really .. ok that's an excuse.. I've been pretty lazy lately.

I'm still avoiding sugars and haven't gained any weight back. So I guess this surgery does work if you work at it??

Well that is about it for now.. I can't think of anything else..
