Default Back to school Plateau (sort of)

Y'all I've started back to teaching after a year off while we moved here to Germany. I'm just thrilled to be back in the classroom and sort of live there in the beginning as I get things going for the year. I have a first/second combination class and am loving it.

The odd thing is that since I started back on Aug 25th I've really only lost a couple of pounds and there were stretches with no loss. I thought once I got out of the chair here at home and back in the classroom I'd see the weight really start dropping. The school has four floors and I do lots of stairs and lots of walking. I've pondered that maybe the muscles getting the workout with the stairs and all are building them somewhat and that may account for the appearing of little loss. I know muscle weighs and when they are being worked and toned sometimes there is even a slight gain. I know I'm burning lots more calories now than before and I do seem to notice size diff even without the pounds dropping like they were when I was home doing a heck of a lot less.

I've lost 89 pounds so far and that is in 4 1/2 months basically. Just feels like I've been in the 260s for ages and of course with that 100 mark not so far away I'm looking forward to getting there.

Between this slowed weight loss and the hair loss I'm trying to stay positive. I am thankful for what I've lost for sure. I'm also able to eat and not feel icky as much now too so that is good. I got a little fridge and microwave for my classroom and that helps with food while at school. Ok I'm rambling...
