I totally agree here, I didn't deprive myself of anything either, including carbs. The difference after having this surgery...for me anyways, is that I knew I could eat anything including chocolate, sugar etc...and when I had those cravings, I would eat it, but instead of eating a WHOLE chocolate bar, I have one bite and i'm totally satisfied.

I do have to admit though....I don't, and never have gotten the recommended protein in. Ever. =/ I'm lucky to get in 20g if that a day. I have been getting better though about it, seems like as soon as I hit that 1 year mark, getting protein in is so much easier...prolly cause I'm used to eating SLOW now instead of wolfing it down and having it come right back up...

Uhhhh so maybe I didn't follow it right to a "T" lol
