Nikki this is such a touchy subject because people lose at different rates depending on size, and how much you started off weighing pre operatively. When people start reading these numbers they start to get frustrated and dont feel like a "winning" loser. Thats why you may not get too may reponses.. just a heads up not to take it personally.

I will tell you at the 6 month mark I lost at least 100 pounds. I am 5'11, was 31 y/o and was just about at the 300 mark, 299 cuz I had gained 10 pounds preoperatively. I dont want anyone emailing me or PM'ing on what I did to lose that fast. I followed the rules.. to the T! I probably could have stood to exercise more than I did, but other than that I stick to the rules! Also, I got sick and was on artifical nutrition for 5 weeks. I had no food at all. Just TPN, water and SF popsicles.

Both of you gals are doing a wonderful job. Keep up the great work, and again dont measure yourself againist others numbers okay... promise?

"People will argue with you that getting what you want in life isn’t something you can learn, if you’re destined to be one of the worlds winners as opposed to one of its perpetual whiners, its because you have been born with the right talents and temperament and have a big dose of self-esteem, ambition, and good judgment."
