If you're making a cream soup, make sure you make it with skim milk. You can also substitute real cream with fat free half and half or skim evaporated milk. Real cream will make you dump. Also, you should be able to have any kind of soup if you strain it. A pain, I know, but you will be able to eat real food soon. Be patient. It's worth every bit of torture you have to go through. I had my surgery 6 weeks before Christmas last year and I survived the holiday season, no problem.
