The Hardest Part
The hardest part for me isn't the eating (or lack there of). It's not the pain or discomfort. The hardest part for me right now is not being able to pick up my babies I have a 1-yr-old and a 3-yr-old andthey are both over 20 lbs, and dr's orders say no picking up anything over 20 lbs. They have been very sick this past week (which happened to be my first week home from surgery), and they have no clue why mommy isn't picking them up to cuddle them. I have to have someone else place them on my lap. It is so hard to see them crying in their bed, and all I can do is look at them until someone comes to my rescue to pick them up... it absolutely breaks my heart. It does'nt help that my DH works swing, so he is not home in the evenings... his parents are staying with us right now, so they have been helpful. But my dtrs don't want grandma... they want me, and I can't give them all of me
