I so knew that people would react like that and that is why I told very few people before surgery. This is not a decision that any of us made quickly or easily. I am very fortunate that I have had an awesome support system. I tell people now what I did and now I hear all of the horror stories, people have no idea how/when to filter. My friends father died from having a tooth pulled, does that stop me from going to the dentist? Of course not.
