Well I am happy to report that I have 1 test left to complete. I have to do my psych evaluation. I heard from the Bariatric case manager today who said she wanted to go ahead and schedule me for the orientation. Things are really moving along. I had a coworker who is 2 years post-op say that after the orientation they have you sit down with the scheduler and pick a date. However, the rule with my insurance company is that you have to pay your portion of the fee($1490 in my case)before you can get a surgery date. I am making a list of all the ways that I can scrimp and save to get this money saved. As lovely as it would be to be able to schedule a date in September, I know that is not realistic for me. My goal is to be able to schedule in January. Super excited!!!
