You are so very right, no one understands or knows unless you have walked in the shoes of someone over weight!
Good Luck with your up coming surgery and yes, also the wait is one of the harder parts, you see the hope and the light at the end of the tunnel, that you are going to be able to lose weight and you want to reach that light so badly and those days before surgery seem so long, but it will come and the sweet reward is seeing the pounds melt away.
