So I have a friend who weighs about 165-170 tell me that she's jealous that I'm having this surgery. She then proceeds to tell me that she's going to gain 30 pds so he can get it done. WTF?!? Her wedding is in October and she is trippin' cuz she can't get into her dress yet. I told her that I'd kick her a$$ if she did try that. Thing is, she crosses state lines to get prescription drugs for weight and then works out-and doesn't eat. I don't get it. Has anyone else dealt with friends like this? I'm really afraid that after I have the surgery that our relationship will have to go away and that saddens me cuz she's cool as hell. Any thoughts/suggestions on how to deal with her?
