When I first started looking into the bariatric surgeries this year, I went to a lapband seminar. The surgeon told the story a lady who wasn't losing weight and they were trying to figure out why. She had to get something out of her purse, and a big bag of M&Ms fell out. He sent her to see the nutritionist. I thought to myself I'd be that lady if I had the lapband. I have a bad sweet tooth.

This is crazy and scary...I remember hearing one of the nurses talking to a patient at Kaiser the man had WLS and he was starting to gain weight back and asked her if they could redo it and she said if it is a lifestyle issue - like if your just not trying no they won't, but if your stomach stretched or something they may consider it...I don't think I would want to go through it twice. Joy I seen you refer to a manual that your doc. gave you in regards to WLS - is there anyway you can upload it or email it me - I never got anything like that. Thanks.
