PCOS, Diabetes and Laser Hair Removal
Hello peeps,
The thing is I've been looking into having laser hair removal and attended a skin clinic for a consultation yesterday. I was feeling pretty optimistic until they got to the diabetes and the possible problems that could arise. They asked me to check with my doctor whether any of my medication would make my skin sensitive to the treatment. Well today my friend armed with a list of my medications, checked it out for me and it appears that it should be ok. Due to my PCOS I have facial hair over my top lip; cheeks; jaw line and on my neck. For years I've been using creams to improve the appears, but in truth anyone can see that I have the shadows of a beard. I'm wondering whether anyone else who is diabetic has sever hair growth on their face and has embarked on laser treatment. Thankful for any support or informaiton on this.
Regards
Hyacinth.
