You are very lucky. The insurance "crap" can be a pain, but I know the end result will be with the effort. I talked with my case manager today and she was very encouraging, I am blessed that Gastric Bypass is considered a covered surgery, so hopefully I won't have to do much fighting to get approved. I am 1/3 of the way through my pre-requisites for surgery, and all of the referrals are in for the rest of the tests and lab work. I will begin scheduling that stuff after the holiday weekend.
