I do this even before surgery! I too am afraid that the temptation to buy new clothes will be overwhelming! Keep me posted if you find the cure ok? Maybe a 12 step program will help? I do one anyways, I could try "I am powerless over my spending and my life COULD become unmanageable".............it is worth a try! Robin
