Hi Jennylynn,
I just went thru this 7 days ago.. I was scared before surgery I hate needles i hate hospitals... here is how mine went (I had rny by the way) I woke up at 4:30 and was at the hospital at 5:30 I met the nurses and changed into my scrubs got my IV (which scared the hell out of me ) but wasnt bad at all.. then had a blood thinner shot.. and checked my blood sugar.. then off to the staging area where I met my anesthesiologist who was hot which made me more nervous! but he was great. They wheeled me in to the or and I got on the table and dont remember a thing about it after that..untill I woke up...it really was not a bad experiance.. I have had some complications with abdominal swelling pulling on my stiches which is not too comfortable but ITS WORTH IT. I have had my ups and downs in the last 7 days and everyone on here is great so if you need a shoulder to cry on or someone to listen we are always here! Your surgery is definately less envasive than mine you will be fine!
