Thank you so much for the welcome, Marella! I actually read about the FDPT from one of your posts my first day lurking here, before I even registered! I did mostly (but not full) liquid protein shakes that day, since I'd just found it; full liquids the second day; and I've been pretty much soft proteins ever since, with the exception of Thursday night (restaurant -- ahi tuna seared rare, with sauteed spinach...mmmmmm...

) and Saturday night (burger nite, half patty, no bun), but only because I'm really just not that into food right now. I'm actually CRAVING my protein shakes! I guess my body was *so* deficient that it took time to actually even recognize the nutrients it needs.
I know I'm talking too much, lol, but I also wanted to yell "THANK YOU!!!" to you ... that post of yours, on the pouch test, was what came up when I googled "how do I know if my pouch is working?" -- and so YOU'RE the reason I found TT and all the fabulous people here! So a GIANT hug to you!!
(On a slightly more serious note, but I didn't want to ignore your other comment, I am keeping an eye out for new pain meds that fit my particular needs, and Hubby's helping keep an eye on the alcohol consumption. I worry about addiction, too. But so far I'm okay, don't worry!)
