Thank you so much for the welcome, Marella! I actually read about the FDPT from one of your posts my first day lurking here, before I even registered! I did mostly (but not full) liquid protein shakes that day, since I'd just found it; full liquids the second day; and I've been pretty much soft proteins ever since, with the exception of Thursday night (restaurant -- ahi tuna seared rare, with sauteed spinach...mmmmmm...) and Saturday night (burger nite, half patty, no bun), but only because I'm really just not that into food right now. I'm actually CRAVING my protein shakes! I guess my body was *so* deficient that it took time to actually even recognize the nutrients it needs.

I know I'm talking too much, lol, but I also wanted to yell "THANK YOU!!!" to you ... that post of yours, on the pouch test, was what came up when I googled "how do I know if my pouch is working?" -- and so YOU'RE the reason I found TT and all the fabulous people here! So a GIANT hug to you!!

(On a slightly more serious note, but I didn't want to ignore your other comment, I am keeping an eye out for new pain meds that fit my particular needs, and Hubby's helping keep an eye on the alcohol consumption. I worry about addiction, too. But so far I'm okay, don't worry!)

Trying so hard to get back on track, face that I can't do it alone, stop beating myself up for my failings... UPDATE: Well, after the 7 lb. drop last week, this week I didn't lose *anything*. Didn't gain, but it's discouraging.
