Pre op Jitters are horrible! I just had my surgery on june 22nd- I hate needles I throw up and pass out and all that fun stuff but I was ready- I had an erie calm-even my mom and my best friend were shocked. Just make sure you take your meds on time and tell the nurses that you have a hard time with needles.. I didnt move my right hand the whole time I was in the hospital cause it had my IV in it
The pain is not that horrible with the meds...also I am surprised no one posted about taking the on-q pump out but it does not hurt so dont be scared!!!! I was freaked out but it was for no reason. I have been out of the hospital since the 23rd and already on the computer and moving around and I am soooo far from hungry. I would suggest you do see a therapist for coping skills though cause you are going thru one of the biggest things in your life for nothing if you dont learn to change that!
