As long as you dont have a fever and your white blood count is normal they should hopefully go thru with the surgery. At least this is what happened with me. I came down with a sinus infection 8 days before my surgery....fever, cough...everything that could happen. I got put on antibiotics and actually took them up till the night before the surgery. I had a slight fever the morning of surgery but they checked my WBC and everything looked fine so they went ahead. I'm so happy they went ahead. It has now been 3 weeks since the surgery and I have lost 25-30 lbs. It has been a slight rollercoaster in emotions but I would go thru it again in a heartbeat. Good Luck with the surgery!
