Hey Clarke whats happenin buddy! Hey brotha it's cool to have some thoughts and worries. Ya know I have been researching these surgeries for quite some time now (over 10 years) I have to admit that I was scared at the thought of such drastic measure's to lose weight. I heard all the stories "Oh my friend of a friend of a friend had it done as she/he had this happen" everyone is different. When we hear stories like that there are soooo many unknown things about their life style we don't know.
After the last few years I've had I finally woke up and said "I am ready for this" and I never looked back. I told a few friends and all I got was "My mom had the surgery and she has problems and didn't lose much and has gained some back" well shortly after that comment I was having dinner at his house he invited his parents too. Finally I got to see why she didn't lose weight. My friend is big too and now I feel outed because I decided to do something great in my life to better myself and my future. Some people get jealous because the can't make great choise for themselves so they blast others for theirs.
Things have changed over the years with these types of surgeries and the success rate has gone up ten fold from years ago. I have personally seen lots of people in my area that don't do as the Doctors say and haven't had great success because they didn't want to change. Success depends on you, you gotta want it! I have never been so positive in my life and my surgery is coming up soon. I can't wait for the change that's been coming and long awaited. These are exciting time's my man grab on with both hands!! It's gonna be one hell of a ride!!! Think of all the stuff you haven't done in years and the stuff you aren't able to do since being bigger. I think you will see opertunities opening up right before you!!! Hope you are at ease with your decision and embrace it, life is gonna be better than ever, I believe it will for me and you, I'm ready for it hope your are too!!! Good luck
