I feel really guilty actually. This is all I had to do:
April 2008 - Home doctor sent a letter to the surgeon.
June 2008 - Surgeon advised me to have RNY. Advised of a year long waiting list.
Feb 2009 - Pre operative screening
Now - Waiting any day to get a date. Surgery will happen within a week of the phonecall.
No psychologist.
No nutritionist.
No insurance crap.
Just an enormous waiting list. That's socialized healthcare for you. Everyone gets helped, you just gotta wait your turn. And wait and wait and wait...
