dumping is generally caused by a high intake of sugars or fats, probably not things you'd find in melba toast or raisen bran.
there are definitely some people who just don't dump. my surgeon told me about one of his (unsuccessful) patients who basically lived off of milk shakes and ice cream during her liquid phase. I've never experienced some of the more dramatic symptoms I've read people describe, but I've definitely eaten things that made me feel physically ill (the cheese off a slice of pizza, some tuna salad at a restaurant, etc).
either way, why test it and stress out your pouch, especially as early post-op as you are?
