I do not watch the scale, so I did not notice that I was gaining weight until my clothes started getting tight. I was about 2 years out and gained 20 lbs. After I cut sugar out (almost completely) and cut back on some of the empty carbs, the weight came back off (over 2-3 months). I do not have a set exercise routine. I have been doing some type of sporting activity a couple times a week (softball, basketball, racquetball) as time allows.
Side note: I struggled through many different diets (like most) that got my weight down, but I could not maintain it. Now, having the tool that allows me to assert some level of control over my weight long term (that I can actually maintain) is an awesome feeling. It is so much easier than before WLS, I kind of feel a little guilty about it.
