According to my surgeon the "Honeymoon Period" is to be used for training for the days when appetite returns and the pouch can hold more then just 1 - 2 ozs of food. Oh and BTW I never lost my appetite. I get hungry every few hours. The difference pre-op and post-op is the size of the portion I can eat.
Perhaps some will choose to wait until after the honeymoon period to install the habit of counting calories. I've choosen to do it now. I am teaching my eyes to see the small portions my body needs to survive at 125 lbs. And my eyes at this point in time, are bigger then my belly.
The software I'm using is called Weight-By-Date. There is a trial version you can download and try. http://www.weightbydate.com/downloads.htm
I'm going to download the trial version of Fitday.com and compare them.
I love the tools in Weight-By-Date and I'm curious if Fitday has the same.
**Few minutes later update** I WAS going to download Fitday but I don't see where they are offereing a trial version.

Expect trouble as an inevitable part of life, and when it comes, hold your head high. Look it squarely in the eye, and say, "I will be bigger than you. You cannot defeat me."
