I just gotta say that the ice pop really isn't all that bad. The fact that one bite of anything will make you throw up tells me your tool is working. You haven't had the dumping syndrome because you have not over done it on the sugar, but the throwing up is also the dumping syndrome. I know you have the ablility to dump, and you have been careful what you put in your mouth. Even though you feel you have over done it in many ways. At this point, you really can't over do it, other than eating too much and making yourself sick. You cannot get in enough calories to gain weight right now. I understand that you do not want to get back into old habits. I found that by not worrying about it, and to just eat normal portions that my body didn't shut down, so that when I began to eat more, it wasn't shocked at the real butter, or the occasional sweet. It is also true that you can eat alot more carohydrates than protein. One ounce of chicken is heavier than one ounce of mashed potato. You will be full for 4 or 5, or even 6 hours on chicken when after one ounce of potato you will be hungry again in two or three hours, maybe less. If you drink with that potato you could be hungry again in half an hour.

You are doing great on this journey, and an ice pop is fluid, and calories, both of which you need at this point. Protein, well try eating that protein instead of drinking it. I liked your post about the protein. Unless you are working out a lot, and I mean alot, you don't need 80 grams of protein. Your pouch will count your calories for you. When you get where you can eat more, at 7, 8, or 9 months post op, you may want to count calories, I don't.

When you get close to goal, you will lose alot slower, but don't worry about that, it is natural. Harder to lose the last 20 pounds than the first 100. Right now you can only lose weight. You were not that big to begin with, and probably a shorty like a few of us on here.

You have good information, and you know what works, working it will be your best option. Good luck with your journey, you are doing great!
