I am so determined now that I had to start now so that I have some kind of momentum working in my favor after the surgery. It gets about 110* in my garage right now and will get between 125 and 130 in july and august. A real sauna. My first work out was monday and all I realy did was get familiar with some of the exercises but it was enough to work up a good sweat. Today wednesday was my second workout and I was able to go for 45 minutes. Of coarse I am working with the lightes possible so that I can do plenty of reps. Felt like callesenics. Felt great with the exeption of my knees getting a little tired.

I don't need to say this, but no matter how much you work-out, you can always eat away the benefits. At your weight, losing 20-30 pounds is nothing - IF you control the food. Keep doing the workouts, don't push the knees at all - but you must control the food or you're wasting your time. Cut your intake in half, increase water and you'll be down in a month.
Good luck!
