Kizzy,

I dont want to be a downer...but....

I have had VSG and I still have dumping. Lots of foods still make sick.

If I eat anything with to hight of fat, to high in sugar or I eat carbs- any carbs....I "dump".

I can't eat grilled chicken, pasta, bread, overcooked shrimp, high sugars, high fat, corn, and I'm not even sure what else I can't eat because I'm only 3 months out.

All of the above foods make me feel "Stuck" then I get the foamies and then I throw up.

I am not "supposed" to dump with the Sleeve. But I do.

Do I mind? not really. It doesnt bother me at all to be honest. It does keep me from eating certain things that are "bad".
It might change I am early out still, Things change, some things not tolerated early out are tolerated fine later. If it doesnt change and stays exactly the same I am still over the moon with this surgery.

Overall, I am THRILLED to have the sleeve. I wish I had done it sooner, is my only regret.

I just want you to know that this surgery is all about changing your eating habits. You have to be ready to say, "I can never have [insert specific food here]" You can't alter your body and expect to eat the same food.

I just wanted you to know that lapband, Rny and VSG are all life changing.
