Talking I Decided and it's June 30th!!

Hey all-

Just an update... I decided to go ahead with the VSG. Since my ins will only cover the LB or RnY, I will be self pay. I also decided to stay close to home and found an AMAZING surgeon who is pretty much the best for this procedure. I will be getting it done June 30th in San Fran and I am sooooo excited!

My To Do List at this point:
Nutrition Consult (by phone)
Psych Consult (by phone)
Upper GI Xrays
Lose 10 lbs

Did I mention how excited I am!?!?!?!???!!!

Also- anyone have tips for how my boyfriend/fiance can better cope? Any stories about SO's losing weight with you after surgery?? He is about 50lbs overweight, has had great success with weight loss by exercise/diet in the past. Although he is my biggest cheerleader and supporter, I can tell he is already feeling some jealousy/resentment about how quickly I may lose the weight.... Any Tips Please?!!
