So I was banded in March of 2008 and I havent lost a thing, so I have decided to have a revision to bypass. I trust my surgeon more then any other person in this world ( Dr. Kurian @ NYU) and my surgery is scheduled For June 2nd. Even though this is my 2nd trip on the merry go round im really scared this time, band to bypass is really risky and you're a greater risk for complications. Thank God and mother for good genes I dont have any medical conditions ( Hypertension, Diabetes , Sleep Apnea , Etc. Etc) so that does help. I guess im just afraid of this surgery and the nutritional deficiencies. Just looking for anyone who has been in a similar situation or if not to just offer some encouraging words...
