I cannot find a list of things to bring to the hospital. I dont know what to search for. Bring personal hygiene things for day two. Have chapstick for sure.
Is there a specific type of chicken, or beef broth that i should buy? I purchased Campbells. Does one have more protein then others? You'll need to read the lables.
Where do you peeps buy your vitamins from? I was told about Bariatric Advantage, but i wonder if i have to buy them forever from there? I buy them at Wal-mart or wherever vitamins are sold. Buy them on sale.
What vitamins do you get? Brands?Wal-mart brand iron and B-12 complex with Folic acid. I buy liquid vit. at Costco.
During the first 2 weeks while on liquids, did any of you add protein to your chicken broth? NO I was thinking about getting some Any Whey tastless stuff to add to my broth. What do you think? Try it. Will my tummy tolerate protein supp's in the first 2 weeks?Everyone is different. Don't buy large quantities until you know you like it. Don't try it now, because your taste will most like change.
I am also curious how many weeks after surgery did you feel you could have gone back to work? Mainly to those of you who have sit down jobs. I went back to work after three weeks, I wish I would have taken one more week.
Sorry for all the question, but i figure i would just ask them all at once. [/quote] Questions and answers are what we're all about.
