I didn't eat anything like that for the first several months. The only carbs I ate were those that occur naturally in fruit, veggies, and dairy products.

I know that different surgeons/nuts recommend different things. From my experience, the people who limit the "bready carbs" (crackers, bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, corn, etc) tend to lose better.
