I'm going to start counting proteins. Today (so far, it's 2:30 PM) I've had 13 grams of protein. I still have dinner to eat, so I'll go to the store and buy some meat and cheese to have around.
Also, I re-read my initial post and don't want you to think I'm totally screwing up! Those two times I mentioned were the only 2 times I've gone off track in the month since surgery. It just so happened I mentioned them both because I thought it was strange I could fit all that food in at that party, and also weird I had a low blood sugar episode when I hadn't had any sugar that day or carbs either.
Thanks for the insight regardng the drinking at the same time. i thought that would make me feel fuller, but maybe it's having the opposite effect, like you said, and pushing the food through faster.
My surgeon is overseas (insurance wouldn't cover it and it was $6000.00 overseas vs. $30,000.00 here in the U.S.) and I don't feel like I should bother him all the time with questions that other sleevers could possibly answer. maybe I'm just too shy and should shoot him an email.
