Before I was diagnosed with CDI, I was (literally) drinking 5 gallons + of water a day. I actually marked it down every time I refilled my gallon jug. I love water, ice cold. Can't stand the stuff if it's not. If it has flavoring in it, then it better also have carbonation, because all it will make me want is more plain water! LOL
On a side note, Mythbusters actually debunked alot of the common things people say about Coke and Pepsi. It did clean blood of the road and off the bumper of a car. I don't remember what other tests they did with it, but one of the was the steak test and it failed.
Another side note...my 3rd grade teacher had a child that lost a tooth. The child brought the tooth in to school one day and as an experiement, we placed the tooth in a small, clear cup of pepsi. 24 hours later, the tooth had dissolved. Ever wonder why your teeth feel funny after drinking a non-diet soda? The stuff eats through tooth enamel, which is said to be the strongest substance in the human body.
