it all depends on how much elasticity is left in your skin. if your skin has been over stretched for a really long period of your life, no amount of exercise is going to tighten that. Certain areas of my body did okay. like my face...thank god! but i did have a tummy tuck and thigh lift. i'm saving to have my arms done next. nothing helped those areas. i think medicaid may only pay for a panniculectomy (skin only-no muscle tightening) if you meet certain criteria and have excellent MD documentation of chronic rashes and infections. it won't pay for anything else. try to to get yourself crazy over this. what's going to happen will happen. focus on the weight loss and getting healthy. then, if you need plastics, get a second/part time job to help save for it. or you could finance it as well. don't overwhelm yourself right now. focus on one thing at a time.
