i went through kaiser in fremont. originally started in manteca. there are only 2 kaisers locations that perform the surgery, one in fremont and the other i think in oakland? I took me about 1 yr to finally get a date. I was at the point where i got to see the dr and the nurse said he had to review the file and they would get back to me. it took 2 to 3 months and all of a sudden they called me one night and wanted to schedule surgery for next week. I did schedule it 1/26 instead of 1/13. Kaiser in fremont was excellent. The only thing I didn't agree was when the surgeon came to see me the day of surgery he said everything was good and I could go home tomarrow. I was really worried, i was supposed to stay at least 2 days. Hope this helps.
