My friend has kaiser and we are in norhtern CA. She went to her PCP and asked about GB. HE said they do cover it if you meet the requirments. She meets all those so he sent her a refferal to start the process. He also let her know that it takes about 7-12months process before you will get the surgery, and if you miss 1 appt you will be dropped and have to start over. It seems like they only use certain surgeons. So it took 2 weeks before she went to the intial orentation. then they called her 5 weeks later to set up the next appt. thats where she is at right now and she just had her appt yesterday so I am not sure what was said then.So the first step would be to see your PCP, also do a search on this forum and just put in kaiser and a lot of info will come up.
