Default Ok I am scared!

I just had surgery 7 days ago and never thought to look in here before hand- is anyone healthy with out complications this far out???

I've had no complications (knock on wood), thus far, except extensive dental work ~ which may not have had anything to do with WLS.

No Problems here either! Im not quite 3months out but so far so good! Try not to let the horror stories scare you! Even those that have had to jump hurdles will tell you they would do it all again. Its good to know what "could" happen......but hope for the best!

I got super, super sick, but it was because I had an undiagnosed B12 deficiency (it showed as normal in my bloodwork, but my body needed more). But the surgery was perfect, and I've had no problems with the physical alterations. I think if you just pay attention to your body, take your vitamins, etc., you should be fine .

I'm almost 5 years out & I have had no problems (knock on wood), and I have a body lift and a baby!

Thanks everyone- Its scary to come into the 4 years and out and not see one healthy person...I know there is sooo many different things that can go wrong and besides my thiroid and being overweight I was super healthy and that scares me!

Jeanie thats awesome! I hope to follow the same trend-who was your surgeon for the body lift? and if you dont mind how much did it cost? I know I am going to need one considering most of my weight is in my lower stomach and hips

Dr. Mofid did my body lift he is AWESOME! Mine was just a little over 11K & I had it 2 years ago, and even after having a baby (she 8 1/2 months) my tummy still looks pretty damn good!
