I had really wanted to have the surgery done and over with no later then the end of August. But, because I put off making the gallbladder ultrasound appointment, I won't have my pre-op until early September. I'll be staying with my mom in Etiwanda after it's all done. My only problem is because my husband is deployed to Iraq currently, how will I handle the kids missing school. I'm wondering if I should ask the school for some kind of independant study packet or try to enroll them in a school near my mom's.
Also, I was wondering if anyone could answer a question for me. I've made plans to drive to Texas this fall (late October) to visit family and to finally get my daughter's father to sign away his rights so my husband can adopt her. Are there any restrictions on travel post surgery?
