I'm only 3 weeks post-op, but this thread inspired me to go try on some clothes
I haven't dropped any sizes yet -- still wearing 52" pants and 4x shirts,
but clothes that I had that kinda-sorta fit but weren't really comfortable (ie: pants where the calves/knees were too tight, shirts where the shoulders or belly were a bit snug) are suddenly comfortable.
I kinda classify my clothes based on where I was in life when I was wearing them... I'm not quite in the clothes that I wore when I started my job 5 years ago when I was wearing 46/48" pants and 3x shirts, but I feel like it's almost in striking distance. tried on a pair of 46" pants tonight and it was funny -- they were roomy everywhere except directly on the waist, which tends to be the opposite of how my pants usually are (when I buy pants for my real waist size, they usually end up being tight in the tighs or calves, so I end up buying a size or two up and belting it)
