I too am scared about loose skin. My doctor said that since I am 24 that I might not have as much loose skin as if I were older, but he said I will have some. I am just so bummed about it, I don't want to be 25 years old, and be at a healthy weight, and not want to wear a bathing suit (a one-piece) or a spaghetti strap shirt because of loose unattractive skin.
I guess the reason why I am so worried about it is because my best friend had gastric bypass 1 1/2 years ago. She was 28 when she had it, and she has lots of loose skin. Of course she spent 10 years being 230lbs (at 5'4") but the skin from her butt hangs low, and her thighs too. Her husband told her that he would rather see fat then skin. But with her clothes on she looks really great, you would never guess!
I decided that I would rather be skinny and look great with my clothes on, oh well if there is excess skin.
A question for people over 1 1/2 years out: Does the excess skin shrink back slightly more over time? I mean, it will still be there but does it take a while for the skin to shrink back?

In maintenance... now I'm yo-yoing up and down 10 lbs or so. I'm trying to find out how to stay at a set weight, it's rough.
