Anyway..what I am sooo curious about is YOUR day to day menu.
On a typical day what does your menu consist of after surgery?
Thanks

I am alomost 8 months post op and everyday looks different. I always start my day with a protein drink from Starbucks. It has about 21 grams of protein and is 270 calories. I like the taste and it satisfies me usually until lunch when I have some type of soup. I am almost always on the go so it varies from day to day. The Campbells soups on the go worked well during the first few months. Now any soup usually goes down well. If I need a snack, I eat some sort of nuts. For dinner, I try and eat a small portion of what I fix for my family. Some type of meat, starch and vegetable. Some times if I get too hungry, I eat too fast and then I get sick. I am working on eating slowly so I can digest what I eat. I usually have no problems when we dine out or with friends because the meal takes longer. Goodluck! You will not regret your decision if you decide to have surgery. It is a difficult road but one well worth the trouble.
